Interbest was founded in the early 1980's after the introduction of outdoor advertising on adversiting masts. Interbest currently operates around 85 advertising masts, mostly located near the Dutch national network of highways. Following ther acquisition of 19 masts from Outdoor Places in 2005, Interbest has become the clear market leader in the Netherlands. Interbest is the only operator that can offer national coverage in the Netherlands.
Waterland owns a majority stake in Interbest.
