JVH gaming is the leading operator of gaming machines in the Netherlands. It is number 1 in the operation of single sites (machines stationed at bars and café’s) and number 2 in the operation of arcades. Arcades are amongst others operated under the newly created Jack’s Casino brand, catering to a wide audience with high class and high service operations. Waterland will support JVH gaming in its further growth, both trough acquisitions and autonomously.
Jacques van Ham founded JVH gaming in 1958, as a manufacturer, distributor and operator of jukeboxes. Over its 48 year history the company has capitalized on its strong technical and operating background and, via a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, has become a leading player in the Dutch market. Today, JVH gaming operates over 7,000 machines in more than 2,700 single sites venues and 33 gaming arcades throughout the Netherlands. JVH gaming also sells over 4,000 gaming machines annually in a number of European countries. With its gaming arcades, JVH gaming has a strong position in the south (Tilburg, Eindhoven) and north (Groningen, Heerenveen) of the Netherlands.
Waterland has acquired a majority stake in JVH gaming. Other investors include senior management and preferred equity investor Hutton Collins.
