Waterland provides growth capital to the group Ipcom, a Belgian distributor specialized in insulation products.
Ipcom was founded in 1967 and grew into one of the leading Belgian distributors of thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation products. In 2009 the group based in Kortemark realized a turnover of € 37 million.
To continue with its growth strategy in the future, Ipcom attracted Waterland as financial partner. Waterland will provide Ipcom with additional financial resources and support its management in continuing the company's growth. Nico en Carlo Vermeersch, 2nd generation managers of the company, will remain as shareholders and continue to manage the company in the future.
This investment fits with Waterland's strategy to invest in high-quality, growing businesses that are active in markets affected by the sustainability trend.
