Lex Douze
Lex Douze is principal with Waterland Private Equity Investments B.V. Before, Lex was founder and manager of PaperX Ltd. (London, UK). PaperX was founded to create a global trading platform for the paper industry and was backed by Apax Partners and Insight Capital. In that role he gained significant experience as entrepreneur and manager in dealing with private equity investors, the challenges of young fast-growing companies as well as formulating development strategies. Earlier in his career, he was strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group where he has done various European strategy studies. Lex Douze has an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in Boston (USA). He also graduated in computer science and in law at Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
