Andreas Kumeth
Andreas Kumeth is Associate with Waterland Private Equity GmbH. Andreas graduated with a degree in mathematical finance from the Technical University of Munich and a degree in economics from the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University of Munich. During his studies Andreas spent one semester at the National University of Singapore where he deepened his finance knowledge. Within his Diploma Thesis he developed an entirely new stochastic risk-return model for valuing private equity investments and investment strategies. Furthermore, he was a student assistant and later scientific assistant at the Technical University of Munich. Andreas was the co-founder of generation next consulting, a student-led consultancy for innovation management. Besides his academic curriculum he has gained relevant industry experience with the management consulting division of goetzpartners, as well as at the M&A department of Lehman Brothers.
