Dr. Carsten Rahlfs
Dr. Carsten Rahlfs is a Associate Principal at Waterland Private Equity GmbH (Germany). Before joining Waterland, Carsten was General Manager of the French consumer goods manufacturer Staub Group, being responsible for Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Management. As Head of Corporate Development of Zwilling J.A. Henckels AG he was responsible for the acquisitions of Staub Group and Demeyere N.V., Belgium. Before that he was Head of Business Analysis of Tchibo GmbH.
Carsten started his career with McKinsey & Company in Hamburg where he worked mainly in the retail and consumer goods sector. Carsten is Business Administrator (Diplom-Kaufmann - University of Lüneburg, Germany) and received a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. Pol.) in Finance Theory and Strategic Management.
