Investment Director, Poland

The Investment Director has first-line responsibility for the entire execution of the acquisition, structuring, strategy development and integration process including:

• generating investment opportunities
• execution of market and industry research and analysis of investment opportunities
• developing acquisition and growth strategies
• modeling and structuring of investments
• supervising due diligence projects, negotiating and closing of investments
• monitoring investments and actively supporting the growth strategy (e.g. buy & build) of the Waterland portfolio companies
• preparing and completing exits.

A candidate for the position of Investment Director:

• has an excellent academic record in Business/Economics, (tax) Law or exact sciences
• is preferably at present engaged in private equity, corporate business development, strategy consultancy, M&A, or holds a position as a CFO with an entrepreneurial spirit
• has in-depth transaction experience
• is familiar with the private equity industry
• has an extensive network among SMEs within Poland and CEE
• has excellent analytical skills, a sense for business opportunities and is a sparring partner on executive board level
• has good communication skills and is pragmatic, self-propelled and is an initiator
• is experienced in, and is familiar with manager/owners
• is fluent in Polish and has excellent command of English
• has both, an entrepreneurial spirit and is a team player.

Successful candidates are offered an excellent remuneration package as well as a carried interest scheme.
