LeanApps becomes part of Keylane

Naarden, 2 May 2014 - Keylane is acquiring full ownership of LeanApps, a supplier of standard software for life insurance and pension insurance companies.

LeanApps, market leader in the Netherlands with its SaaS platform, is the third business within Keylane, along with Actuera and Quinity. As part of Keylane, LeanApps will be able to combine forces and achieve faster growth, both nationally and internationally.

Ralf Timmer, a director of Keylane, says, “Adding LeanApps to our group means were are expanding the scope of Keylane’s operations and increasing our ability to act, both nationally and internationally. Our software solutions now cover all types of life, non-life and pension insurance companies. This lets us offer a proposition that is unique in the market.”

“We have great faith in LeanApps’ potential because of the excellent software platform,” says Ronald Kasteel, a director of Keylane. “Over recent years, LeanApps has built up a strong position as an SaaS supplier for insurers, as well as achieving its first international successes. That makes LeanApps a perfect addition to Actuera and Quinity.”

The founders of LeanApps, Emiel Goosens, Wiebe van Leijenhorst and Rob Versloot, will remain involved with the organisation in an advisory capacity. Ron van den Broek will become the CEO of LeanApps Holding.
